| Sears Fullerton |
The Sears Fullerton is a boxy, six-room model. This one in Wheaton was built between 1923-1925. The Box House style was most popular in the late teens, but Sears was still selling these houses into the 1930's.
The Fullerton came delivered with cypress wooden siding, a hipped roof with overhanging eaves, a full-width porch, and a center chimney.

The original owners were Swedish immigrants Fred J. and Laura Nelson (originally Nilson). Fred was a repairman/carpenter for the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad.

That's a classy Foursquare, qnd with exception of the closed-in porch and vinyl siding, amazingly intact!
